
Commonly known as Diana de Versailles, this is a lead figure of the 4th century sculpture; the original is in the Louvre. Note the stag deer alongside of Diana.
This statue was cast around 1920 and it is original to the garden. It was restored in 1993 by Paul Crowther, grandson of H. Crowther who originally cast the statue in Surrey, England.
